long overdue last post about mid-sem break

Ok so folks this is the last post on my mid-sem break. On the week-end before the sem started we headed of to the beach at Surfers Paradise over at Gold Coast. The weather was pleasent, the water was awesome and the company fun. It was all in all a great day.

Meeting point.. can you believe this is 7.30 in the morning? looks like middle of the day right?

Surfers!

First thing you have to do once you get to the beach ,the split fingers pose!

Then comes all the other nice bright sunny pics! The beach is an awesome place to take pictures, the effect of the openess and the sun light is nice.

Before going in for a dip, beach games! and we were playing serious ball ok ....

Team strategizing on how to get the enemy down and all
In the end we couldnt control one of our team members as she went off running after some cute guy in boardshorts...

The guys on the other hand played beach cricket

Well there are no pictures of us in the water because none of us have waterproof cameras...hehehe...
First thing after the beach, LUNCH!

Then we hit the streets of Surfers. And of course we had to do the whole touristy stop and pose and click.

Japanese guy playing the didgederoo, really good at that too

Guys enjoy posing too

I love mirror shots

See what I mean by tourist shots

Random, caught of guard

Mandatory group picture

Somewhere inbetween walking around absorbing Surfers lifestyle, we stopped for bowling Those Ronald Mcdonald bowling shoes

My oh so unflattering gorilla style

And we bid Surfers goodbye as the sun set

It was no doubt a tiring day but it was so fun, nice hot bathe and a panadol, and a most peaceful rested night of sleep followed.
